The Renewed Hope programme of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration has recorded significant success in improving the welfare of Nigerians, particularly the vulnerable and less privileged across the country.
The Northwest Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Grassroot Movement, Alhaji Abubakar Lawal Siha Bakori, stated this while addressing journalists in Katsina on the activities of the organisation.
According to him, President Tinubu introduced several initiatives under the Renewed Hope agenda aimed at empowering rural youth and women to become productive and self-reliant citizens.
Alhaji Siha Bakori explained that since its implementation, the programme has become a vital tool for community development by creating numerous employment opportunities for young people and women nationwide.
He said the initiative includes various empowerment schemes such as modern agricultural training, vocational skills development, entrepreneurship support, digital literacy programmes, and the promotion of small and medium-scale enterprises — all designed to equip beneficiaries with practical skills for self-sustenance.
The coordinator reaffirmed the full support of the Renewed Hope Grassroot Movement for both President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and the Katsina State Government under Governor Dikko Umaru Radda in their shared commitment to national growth and development.
He further commended Governor Radda for his determination to tackle insecurity in the state through the establishment of the Community Security Watch, a homegrown security initiative aimed at ensuring lasting peace and safety among residents.
